U Splitu prevladava blaga mediteranska klima, koja grad pretvara u turističku oazu kako u ljetnim tako i u zimskim mjesecima. Kraj Splita postoje mnogo mjesta koje preporučamo za posjetiti (Salonu (Solin), Šibenik, Trogir, Makarska, slapovi Krke, Radmanove Mlinice...) kao i srednjodalmatinske otoke Brač, Hvar, Šoltu, Vis, Čiovo, Korčulu i Mljet. Sa svim mjestima i otocima Split je odlično prometno povezan autobusnim i brodskim vezama.
Split is the largest city on Adriatic coast, it is urban center of region and destination for many tourists. Well known places in Split city are Diocletian Palace that is on the list of UNSESCO world heritage, park forest on the hill of Marjan with many viewpoints, promenades and playgrounds on it, and Split city’s shore.
In the Split city center and city’s shore you can find many restaurants and cafes with excellent gastronomy.
The mild Mediterranean climate prevails in Split and that’s why Split is touristic oasis in the summer and in the winter period. Near the Split there are many places that we recommend you to visit: Solin (old Salona) Šibenik, Trogir, Makarska, waterfalls of river Krka, Radmanove Mills...). We also recommend you to visit Dalmatian islands Brač, Hvar, Šolta, Vis, Čiovo, Korčula, Mljet. With all places and islands, Split has excellent bus connections or ferry connections.
